Wellhayes Vineyard is set to launch the release of the 2019 vintage with a party! Saturday 25th May from 12.30pm. Book now. The Wellhayes Sparkling Wine has won many awards and sells out quickly. Unlike the large Champagne houses which have large reserves which are blended to ensure a consistent house style each year, Wellhayes owners, Simon and Alison Routh, make the wine on site solely from grapes grown in their one hectare vineyard. This makes each year a unique expression of the grapes that came off the field that year. With less than 2,000 bottles available, the 2019 vintage is described as having a fine mousse and lively acidity with a fresh taste of strawberry and a hint of raspberry, and is likely to be highly sought after. A limited number of tickets for the launch are available from the Wellhayes website. Search Wellhayes Vineyard and follow @wellhayes_vineyard for future events and releases.27 Apr 2024Posted on
